You guys are all getting down voted and this misses out on the pure entertainment value of these comments

For sake of argument, maybe HP is seen as it's own thing now. It's become so ubiquitous it's sort of general fiction and not thought of as grouped with anything.

I love that idea if pyrrhic victories. I've been asking around about what are some favorites in this "genre" and have been suggested: The Witcher, First Law, Goblin slayer, Embers of Illenial/Mageborn. What else should I add to this reading list?
