Woops, haha didn't realize what each of your alts are. 😅 Well, you and dandelion are doing a superb job! I can't imagine how much work goes into keeping the space safe and welcoming, but you're totally right; your users are awesome and that model of community building and positivity is most definitely inspiring! I wish each of you and the community nothing but the best!
That's totally respectable! Better not to go messing with something one is not comfortable messing with, right?
I guess I tend towards a non-traditional, pseudo-Jungian view that the spiritual world and our connection to it is pre-present within the inner-most parts of our mind. It's not that the spiritual doesn't exist; my view is more like a complete copy of the divine is present within every living thing. It just develops into some things that are more personable within people, and people's individual personalities grow out from those. What we each experience in nature or through ritual comes from within, which is part of the real miracle of it all.
My opinion is that everyone knows the Feminine Divine because She forms the basis of what develops and eventually coalesces into our personal selves.
A bit unorthodox, I know, and I'm not great at explaining things. I suppose it could be taken as somewhat of a middle-ground between spirituality and psychology, but I guess I don't think either quite has the language to grasp the reality of things on their own.
Do you have any other spiritual musings or experiences you'd feel comfortable sharing?
I just wanted to mention how much I appreciate all of the hard work you, foxglove and CheeseToastie are doing over at WomensStuff!
Keep fighting the good fight for a women's only space; you ladies rock!
I noticed some cute young things trotting around in their frilly dresses, showing off their shaved legs, painted toenails and "cruel" shoes. A thought flitted through my mind "the genes controlling those women want to get replicated".
🤢🤮
Treat all of Nature's children with caution, respect, gentleness, and humility: avoid danger.
But how many men revere Her enough to live out such advice? Who can heed and value Her windy songs more than his own noisy lusts?
