Use the Heroic Launcher. It uses the same proton as steam but doesn't launch through steam.

Instead of a keyboard it should be the loudest most old fashioned typewriter possible, but still connected to AR glasses

Thanks, I was just about to ask for rss, but it looks like since there are a lot of crossposts there are a bunch of duplicates in the rss feed. Is it possible to narrow it down to just posts to c/steam deck?
