Thanks for the link! I usually just use the Reddit link, I've had alternative viewers shut down in the past (e.g. Invidious instances for Youtube) and then people can't access the content anymore

Sorry to hear, there are power tripping mods everywhere.

You can always try to escalate to the admins (even though sometimes they don't want to interfere with communities)

That's the line we draw, yes.

You can say that according to you, the original trilogy are the worst movie ever made, that's your opinion.

Going around telling people they have bad taste seems like a different kind of statement.

The line is thin, and there is definitely room for improvement, but that's where we are right now.

Is this kind of direct attack needed?

It's something to say that a movie is good or bad according to you (it's usually a matter of personal preference), it's something else to tell people they have bad taste.

To be completely correct you will have to create a new account, but you can export and import your subscriptions and block lists from the new account to the new one in a few clicks

I’m also very curious to see how (if at all) you migrate an existing server with all its existing ActivityPub keys and subscriptions to a new piece of software, on the same domain, without unfixably breaking its federation with every other instance. My guess is that they will switch to a different beehaw.(whatever) domain but I’m curious if there’s a good solution I’m not aware of.

Tha'ts probably how it's going to happen.

No worries, I get what you mean.

Indeed, but I don't expect much accuracy from people on a conservative community

Hello,

Good luck with your community.

Out of curiosity, why did you choose lemmy.world to host it? I know you are pretty active on communities on feddit.uk and other instances, so I was a bit surprised.

Hello everyone,

Just have been in an Italian/Renaissance mood lately, and thought it would be nice to give a shot (I never really played the series).

How good is it by today standards? I know that the late episodes of the series have been criticized for being quite repetitive and just filled with low-value artefact gathering, is it the case for this one to?
