How much could they save if they stopped drinking beer?

Find a gym partner. It doesn't even have to be someone that always goes with you every day. Just find someone that is going as well. Create a challenge for both of you, e.g, "lose 1% of body weight per week" or "increase 10% on 3x12 set of bench press".

Yeah, I guess that's will be the way to go. But if I can do that with my cheapo earbuds, then I'll just stick with them for now...

Yeah, I meant to compare their "small" and "big" headphones. If the XL picks up sweat, then it's a no for me.

Is there any type of "universal" hook that one could buy? If you can recommend one I'd appreciate it.

I'm looking into buying some headphones for the gym, and I'd like to give Fairphone products a try. My experience with earbuds is that they tend to be hard a fit that can stay put during a whole run, and with larger over-ears I worry about getting my ears too hot during the exercise.

So between the two, which one would you choose?

You are still early in the journey, so of course it will feel like as long as you are consistent you will make progress quickly. The moment you start getting closer to your natural limits, perhaps you will see that reaching new PRs are not so easy so you will not take them for granted.

Regardless, there are countless stories of athletes that face some form of depression after reaching the top. They run out of things to chase, so they find themselves without a purpose. Maybe the important lesson here is to make sure that you have a purpose in what you are doing that is not attached to any specific number or metric.
