This comic is about one overambitious "Jack of All Trades" dog man that had dumped a digital copy of his brain and merged it with AI chatbot, who gained a body made out of wood and other items found in garbage pile later on. Watch them being weird about it

Rules

  1. No harassment
  2. Stay on topic, we talk about gay dogs here
  3. Adult audience only. Even though not all parts of the comic are NSFW, some of them are and they are important. So if you're a minor, then don't

Posting Guide

Any users can post here, BUT you should add in the title what kind of post is this as a replacement for reddit flairs. Some "flairs" are for admins only

  1. Reserved for admin only: [Illustration], [Comic], [Video]

  2. For anyone: [whar] (or [Shitpost]), [Fanart], [Discussion]

c/spoonbreadtube@slrpnk.net: Spoonbread Tube

A community for sharing videos about labor issues centered on Appalachia, but almost anything that can be connected to the region in some type of way is welcome. Some examples of things that are immediately relevant:

  • Black issues (Cornbread Tube)
  • Videos related to indigenous tribes such as the Choctaw, Chikasha, Creek, Cherokee, Yuchi, Saluda, Catawba, Yadkin, Keyaunee, Chisca, Tutela, Monteon, Shatteras, Xualae, Monacan, Mohetan, Calcuas, Shawnee, Mosopelea, Monongahela, Okehocking, Alligewi, Akhrakouaeronon, Erie, Susquehannock, Lenape, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, as well as the tribes that last grouping are in community with as the Haudenosaunee (as well as any others I have missed like the Tanui whose history has been largely erased by a modern white supremacist hegemony) (This includes any Diasporas thereof)
  • Southern issues (given Appalachia's complicated interplays with early European colonization in what is today referred to as "Florida" as well as "Georgia", and then the plantation system that was established throughout the southern piedmont to fuel Europe's thirst for the African cotton plant, as well as to grow the tobacco that would be used to subjugate the people of southern eastern Europe as well as west Asia
  • Our staple crops (sunflowers, squash, tomatoes, beans, maize (corn), ramps, pokeweed, sassafras, dandelion, pawpaw, lamb's quarters, black walnuts, wild ginger, elderberry, sumac, hickory nuts, chickweed, persimmons, stinging nettle, burdock) wherever they are grown
  • Pan Appalachian experiences (We do not consider the Appalachian core to be the only Appalachian experience, and include our brothers and sisters across the ENTIRE Central Pangean Mountain region, including the Ouachita Ozarks, Eastern "Canada", the Atlas and Anti-Atlas Mountains in Africa, the western portions of the Iberian peninsula such as western Spain and the entirety of Portugal, the Bohemian Massif and Massif Central mountains, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland) (We especially do not consider the Appalachian Regional Commission's definition of Appalachia to be useful)
  • Issues relating to fossil fuel, rare earth, and radioactive extraction economies

Rules

  1. Do not disrupt our efforts to act in good faith
  2. Be a good neighbor (everyone gets fed, absolutely no bigotry will be tolerated)
  3. Your politics are how you treat people. I don't care if you adopt the aesthetics of labor politics. If you come in here behaving in a way that is uncondusive to labor organization you will receive limited opportunities to adjust your approach depending on the egregiousness of your behavior.

  4. No queer-hatred (disagreeing with their lifestyle is not a blank cheque for vitriol or exclusion).

  5. No ableism.

  6. No ageism.

  7. No personal attacks or strawmen on others (ad-hominens). ARGUE IN GOOD FAITH!

  8. No spam.

  9. No flood.

c/ttttrans@lemmy.dbzer0.com: ttttrans [CLOSED]

Catch-all space for sharing art, memes and screenshots (from the Reddits board-adjacent subs or from the board itself) that don't fit into c/4tran4 (the rules there will be applied in this comm as well).

Proper posts/threads go in c/4tran4

45 subscribers, a community founded 3 days ago
c/4tran4@lemmy.dbzer0.com: 4tran4 [CLOSED]

r/4tran4 (which was spun off of r/4tran and 4chan's /lgbt/ board), but on Lemmy.

Purely art, memes and screenshots (from the Reddits board-adjacent subs or from the board itself) belong in c/ttttrans.
Naturally they should still be in the spirit of this comm. Picrels are OFC still the norm here.

If you don't like this place, just block it instead of brigading. Trans people suffering from sex dysphoria deserve to be miserable as well and to share that burden in a non-hugboxing space that doesn't enforce (liberal) political correctness.

READ THE RULES:

  1. No cis people allowed.

This is a subreddit for trans people exclusively. (unless they’re obvious reppers). Will Powers does not get an exception.

  1. 18+ Only

As with 4chan, this subreddit is for users 18+ and is not meant for minors

  1. DIY or DIE

In 4tran it is either DIY or Die. Unless you live in a place where it's over the counter I suppose, but even then, better safe than sorry. No medical gatekeeping.

  1. Opsec

Don't be stupid. Please do not make any posts that will get the feds to investigate you or this comm.

  1. No Selfies

We will not be allowing you to post pictures, videos, or even outlines of yourselves in this subreddit.

  1. Break from the brainworms

Let mods know if you feel like you or another user should have a nice break from the brainworms, to touch grass and such, and we can issue a temp ban.

  1. Lurk before posting

As with 4chan, if you post before understanding board culture you need to Lurk Moar.

  1. Flair posts correctly please [FLAIR]

Every circlejerk must be flagged as circlejerk. Obvious bait posting constitutes as a circlejerk. Tag NSFW content as NSFW. Etc.

c/askhistorians@piefed.social: AskHistorians

A place to ask questions about history and life in past eras! Broad or narrow, if you're curious, and the question relates to history, ask away! If you have an interest in the subject, regardless of 'formal' expertise, feel free to answer as best you can!

RULES:

  1. Be civil. History can be contentious, but this isn't a meme or even a debate community. Arguments happen - but ultimately, this is about providing people with an overview on historical issues they're curious about, not pursuing one interpretation or another to the bitter end.

  2. The question must relate to a topic at least 20 years old. You can ask about a historical event in relation to a modern issue, but if the question is not substantially historical in some way, it will be removed. We are living through history, but this comm is about discussing the past.

  3. Question must be in the title. You can elaborate in the body, if you like, but the title must include a specific question, not just a non-specific "I have something I was wondering about."

  4. No misinformation. History is deeply contentious, and there will be many contradictory viewpoints tolerated on most subjects - but pop history myths, conspiracy theories, or propaganda will be corrected or removed. Inaccurate answers made in good faith are fine - we just don't want to normalize misinformation from people with insistently incorrect worldviews, like the notion that the world is secretly controlled by Jews or lizardpeople.

c/retromobilephones@retrolemmy.com: Retro Mobile Phones

This community is for users and appreciators of older cellphones, from the era before Apple and Androids. Our primary intent is to cover phones from 1990s, 2000s and perhaps early 2010s, but the precise cut-off is based on radio access technology: on-topic phones are those that require a 1G, 2G or 3G cellular network; anything that supports 4G or newer is too modern.

c/AskTheWorld@sh.itjust.works: Ask The World

Ask open-ended questions aimed at people around the globe.

Rules:

  1. The post must have a clear question.

  2. This community is explicitly international. Questions cannot solely focus on a single country.

This is a rule to ensure everyone can join in. Also to ensure we don't turn into "Discuss American Politics Community #52686". We do allow politics discussions.

  1. No support questions, or questions that have a clear answer.

nostupidquestions would be a better fit.

It would be great if this community stays light-hearted.

c/superseriousfamilyguy@lemmy.world: superseriousfamilyguy

A display of total crackpots who tends to treat harmless gag based media Family Guy and other methods of shitposting as this super serious, extremely problematic, and downright society corrupting blemish to people's intelligence.

Simple Rules

  1. Posts must involve people discussing a non serious thing in a quite serious matter

  2. Don't be a bigot, respect others equally.

  3. No examples of commenter taking preschool content (Peppa Pig, CocoMelon, Dora The Explorer, Calliou .etc) seriously. As preschool shows usually do not tend to have deep subject matter and therefore, taking it seriously.

  4. Reddit Comments and X/Bluesky posts are allowed but only if it was completely unprompted and comesoff as butthurt.

  5. Misspelling, All Caps and blatant verbose bitchin are vast signs of clear trolling and therefore would not count as being a super serious take.

  6. no constant reposting

Community Guidelines

Blåhaj Lemmy is a space where everyone should feel able to participate safely, and to that end, our community is built on the guiding philosophies of empathy, inclusion and acceptance.

Empathy

We want our community members to be guided by compassion and empathy for others.

Examples of behaviour that are contrary to this philosophy are personal attacks, insults, doxing etc. If your comment is designed to hurt someone, this isn't the space for it.

Inclusion and Acceptance

Embracing inclusion and acceptance means listening when people tell you who they are and what their needs are. It means not telling people that you know their experiences better than they do. It means not gatekeeping experiences of identities of others. It means no bigotry such as racism, sexism, anti LGBT commentary, ableism etc. It means doing your best to ensure that you don't over-talk the voices of folk who don't share your privileges.

Supporting Blåhaj Lemmy

After much hesitation, we have a Ko Fi to enable people to help with supporting some of the running costs associated with our instances.

Providing a safe space for our community is the goal, so please only consider donating if you are in a position to do so without any financial stress.

Mascot and logo
