Some say he is still not pooping to this very day.

[-] Chariotwheel@kbin.social 32 points 2 years ago

He really isn't giving a shit.

This made it so big people outside of Lemmy were talking about it. I overheard some co-workers talking about it and I was like you're on Lemmy?? And they were confused.

[-] Jackolantern@lemmy.world 25 points 2 years ago

Oh yeah! The first legendary post on lemmy. Years from now, I can say to my grandkids that I was there when the poop post came out. I was there

Some say he is held against his will in The European Organization for Nuclear Research in Switzerland, commonly known as CERN. Apparently, his sacrifice made a a giant leap in the field of Condensed Dark Matter.

Human Right activists are fighting for his immediate release, both from the imprisonment and for his bowels.

what was it for?

The world may never know 😔

[-] Ghost33313@kbin.social 10 points 2 years ago

He actually said not to ask, if I remember right.

[-] Speckle@lemmy.world 15 points 2 years ago

The current status is that he's really active on lemmy still and will sometimes pop in on these type of posts and answer your questions.

He did do a follow up about how to take a poop when you haven't for three days lol. So he clearly had trouble getting started again but I think he's well now.

[-] CCatMan@lemmy.one 11 points 2 years ago

Not sure, but hopefully he pooped.

[-] infamousbelgian@waste-of.space 3 points 2 years ago

Let us indeed hope that it has happened.

[-] 4am@lemmy.world 2 points 2 years ago

He did! He was very constipated and he’s fine now. There is a link with an update somewhere in these comments.

[-] Olkyle@lemmy.ml 8 points 2 years ago

Sounds like we need an OOTL out of the Lemmy.

[-] LazaroFilm@lemmy.world 8 points 2 years ago

I’m confused… can someone ELI5?

[-] infamousbelgian@waste-of.space 18 points 2 years ago

Twas one of the first Lemmy “memes” if you want to call it like that.

A guy needed advise to not poop for 3 days. Never heard from him again.

It was followed by the Beans episode.

[-] lemminer@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 years ago

Did someone suggested him to have beans?

[-] Cinnamon3431@lemmy.world 11 points 2 years ago

some guy posted a question about how he can survive without shitting for 3 days straight. Ge didn't want to say why he wanted to do it and never gave an update. The post has become a meme

[-] livus@kbin.social 15 points 2 years ago

He did update the post to make it clear it was some kind of hiking/camping trip.

There was also a gummy worms post.

[-] planish@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Also looks like there's an update here

[-] planish@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 years ago

Honestly just traveling will do this sometimes. Brain is all "we can't poop here, what happened to home"

[-] AngrilyEatingMuffins@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago

Say an unusual word every time you’re pooping at home and then repeat it when you’re having trouble in public. It works with pee, at least

[-] bran_buckler@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago

That’s interesting! I’d hate if the unusual word came up randomly in an everyday situation. “Not like this!” as you fight your bladder from releasing a deluge while you’re on a commute on a bus…

[-] AngrilyEatingMuffins@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

That’s why I chose “excelsior”

I feel like my only danger is possibly when a secondary ship warps in during a Star Trek movie.

[-] Anonymouse@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Don't vacation here or even read the page out loud.

[-] bran_buckler@kbin.social 1 points 2 years ago

Ha! You might as well give up and wear diapers at that point!

[-] CeruleanRuin@lemmy.one 1 points 2 years ago

Also definitely want to avoid the letters page in old Marvel comics.

[-] AngrilyEatingMuffins@kbin.social 2 points 2 years ago

haha true i forgot about stan ending letters like that!

[-] livus@kbin.social 4 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Yeah it was a post by @mizu6079 who had some... unusual requirements that captured everyone's imagination.

Here's the original asklemmy thread - formatted for kbin, I'm not sure how to format for lemmy yet.
