Lol when GodotOS supports fractional scaling faster than some DEs..

This is awesome! Is there a practical use case? Or was this just a fun learning project?

Just for fun, it's more of a toy. That said, the source code is available so someone could probably extend it to something a little more serious.

Will do.

This is a great showcase of the engine’s ui, nice work! What languages did you use?

[-] popcar2@programming.dev 12 points 2 years ago

Thanks! I only used GDScript, nothing else needed.

This is going to be great for the "haunted PC" genre.

Ink/twine integration with something like this would be crazy cool

"haunted PC" genre... What is that?

[-] wagesj45@kbin.social 3 points 2 years ago

The game that immediately popped into my mind was Last Seen Online.

[-] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 3 points 2 years ago

media about PCs that are haunted.

[-] XTornado@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Well I guessed that, my question maybe wasn't great I was expecting some examples because I don't know anything like that.

Her Story

Emily is Away

and Pony Island

Hypnospace Outlaw (not really haunted)

Fallout 3, NV, 4, 76

Orwell

Duskers

SuperHOT

Hacknet

Doom 3

Subnautica

This is actually brilliant, nicely done.

I just saw it! Wild stuff!

And that title will make a lot of people really mad haha, he did clarify it wasn't a real OS but boy are the comments rolling in anyways.

[-] GammaGames@beehaw.org 2 points 2 years ago

LOL that’s unfortunate, I’m seeing lots of positive comments on the video! So many people seeing the potential
