Hello.

When I use Conversations for communicating with my family (all for us are using a public server right now), the battery usage is very low and reasonable. But after joining a group (specifically Prosody's group so I can ask question there), the battery usage becomes very high (about 20% of the battery is consumed by Conversations according to Android's metrics).

Is there anything I can do about this? I was thinking if I can join the group on desktop but not my phone, it would be ideal. But this information gets synced across devices. So I end up joining the group and then leaving when I am done.

Any suggestions for this?
