For me it has to be:

  1. Helix mattress ($1,217). Sleep is great.
  2. Home gym power cage & weights (~$1,000). Look good, feel good, get strong.
  3. Netgear Nighthawk AXE7800 ($339). No more random, annoying internet disconnects/slowness.
  4. Books ($0 @ library)
    • "Ultralearning" - Scott Young (how to learn efficiently)
    • "Enlightenment Now" - Steven Pinker (the world overall is improving)
    • "The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing" - Taylor Larimore (how to invest)
  5. PS5 ($500). So many great games like witcher 3, god of war, spiderman.

I'm searching for some more deep value purchases. Give me what you've got.

My 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro. It's both the best (and worst) purchase I've ever made.

On one hand - that thing is the reason I got into working in creative jobs (3D, video editing, etc). On the other hand - it's the worst computer I've ever owned. I've had it for the past 4 years and I'm already planning on replacing it next month.

CLZ Movies. It's saved me thousands of dollars (over the years) by not buying duplicates of my movies and TV series. I also know what and where they are and a brother can see the list.

A $50 calf stretcher from Amazon. Rounded bottom, you stand on it and it flexes your feet while extending your heels.

Cured my plantar fasciitis and allowed me to run again.

Samsung Odyssey+. It's a VR headset, and although almost anything post-2017 would be a better option due to its poor tracking, I still consider it one of my best purchases because it got me back into VR for cheap (friend sold it to me for $250) after the Oculus Rift kickstarter years before when I couldn't afford it.

Also Ryzen 7 5800X3D. This CPU is probably gonna stay as my main chip for at least the next 5 or so years, it's really a beast.

In this order:

  1. Washing Machine
  2. Dishwasher
  3. Dryer
  4. Robot vacuum cleaner
