Coding. It seems so fascinating and useful, but it’s so overwhelming and hard to know where to start if I don’t have a particular goal in mind

In the same boat. Always wanted to learn beyond the if and for stuff. Have recently tried watching the freeCodecamp.org yt channel, but it's not really a main focus.

Automotive maintenance. I like working on cars, but I really can't bring myself to learn how to fix everything. I just do the simple stuff like tires and air filters

This one resonates with me. I don't necessarily love working on cars but I love the feeling of being able to fix/replace something on my own. That said, I kind of can't be bothered to learn how to do more than just air filters
