What am I looking at here ?
Reddit sent me an email promoting a post on Reddit on a SubReddit about alternatives to Reddit complaining about how much the Reddit mobile app sucks.

Can’t stand when they send notifications and emails even when you have them turned off
I can't believe people ever gave them an email address in the first place
Even back then, I always just used throwaway emails to register on things. My actual email is reserved for real shit... Although even HR departments seem to share it with advertisers because in the last few years, I get job related ads and I've only ever given my email to real, physical people in the flesh specifically to reduce and/or eliminate spam.
The more reason to quit Reddit altogether.
Downloaded, tried it, left my one-star review & deleted it.
It showed me a bunch of crap that had no business existing on my front page.
It's not your front page on that shitty app anymore.
It's what an algorithm decides to feed you and you can't switch it off.
Idk if it ever changed, but when I checked it out after they launched it, I hated that even as a vertically scrolling mobile app, it squished everything into the center and had empty space on the sides. Totally fucking bonkers.
Official app is currently down to 3.3 stars, from 4.3 pre API protests
