It’s not too bad. The lack of a history of posts on Lemmy makes me miss Reddit more than anything. The engagement here seems pretty good but I hope it continues to get better. It will just take time.
Migrated from Apollo, wepwep is my home while testing the other iOS apps. Feels good over here!
Honestly, I really want to use Lemmy, but the performance of Lemmy.world is almost a deal-breaker. Comments and posts don't load half the time, sometimes typing can even be slow wefwef. I feel like I've made my bed with lemmy.world and don't really want to make accounts on different instances in the hope of getting usable performance.
So far infinity is still working for me, but that might just be because I haven't updated it lol. Either way I'm finding myself using lemming more overall now. Thunder has been a convenient lemmy app for me, especially since I could log into it without hanging or errors.
using Connect for Lemmy on Android, and it’s a great experience. Also using Mlem on iOS in TestFlight, and it has been good as well. I also use the browser version if the app is being flaky.
Created my Lemmy account about an hour ago after seeing feedback regarding the wefwef app. So far I am not disappointed in its execution. I have already joined a few communities that reflect what I was doing on Reddit and I am hopefully optimistic it continues to grow in a positive manner. I do agree with another comment that the engagement should be more meaningful with fewer users.
I wish wefwef would be a proper app. Webapps have never been my thing. I’m using Memmy right now and it’s okay.
I’ve been enjoying Memmy and Thunder. Tried it out for the first time yesterday and Wefwef is pretty damn close to Apollo. Personally, I’m excited for Artemis, which like Apollo was, is aiming to be a similarly smooth and robust standalone iOS app.
Besides some of the outages I have experienced and getting used to the Memmy app, I am enjoying my time so far. I haven’t posted yet since I was more of a lurker on Reddit but that will change since I want to see this community succeed.
A lot of the content on here reminds me of old Reddit, I'm enjoying it so far!
The only thing I really miss from Reddit is the cryptocurrency mainreddit and the subreddits. Lemmy is definitely going to be amazing once other like-minded individuals migrate to lemmy.
I'm on Android and the app if found that I like the most so far is Connect. For context, I was a sync for Reddit user and I'm already pre-registered for sync for Lemmy and Connect has UI quite similar to what I'm used to
so long as there's nice content i feel fine. 9gag, reddit, twitter, whatever.
Yeah, its the very same for me...
I have liftoff and jerboa installed. Right now I m enjoying the first the most.
I m realy enjoying lemmy as well. I feel this could be better than reddit (even after 12 years there).
Don t know if it happen to anyone esse, but I tryed using RIF today and still menaged to get posts, Don t know why, I thought it would be completly dead.
Doing great so far, servers were a bit buggy today but I think it can only get better
I’m giving MLem a trial run and like it so far. I’m a fairly casual user.
