Thing is, by doing this they get free ads.
You saw it, you posted it here, 50 or more people saw it, someone will probably repost it further. The earlier they do it, especially if they're the first ones to do so, the more likely it is that someone will post a picture on social media, or tell their friends.
If you want it to stop, make doing it not profitable, just ignore it.

No problem, just wait a couple of years and it will line up correctly again. So that last Xmas ~~I gave you my heart~~ you will have been eating the chocolate from present Xmas and present Xmas you eat the chocolate of future Xmas. Let me know if you have any questions.

There’s been some Halloween bits appearing round here but nothing Christmas…yet.

One of the supermarkets did have a big “back to school” display before August had even started.

Anyone caught selling Christmas stuff before Halloween should be hung in a gibbet as a Halloween decoration.

For me, anything Christmasy before December results in a firm tut or two.

Poor Halloween. Always gets marginalised by Spendmas.

Spendmas

Good thing Halloween never gets commercialised, eh?

I never said Halloween isn't commercialised; the point is Christmas stuff is taking over in August.

It's time to begin a war on Christmas.

That's just taking the piss. For me it only reinforces the will to buy less and less of this shit.

On the one hundred and thirty-nineth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me...

In the US, typically the earlier you see Christmas on sale is an indicator of how poorly sellers predict the economy will be doing between now and Christmas.

You had brexit and didn't even get rid of shitty mid-european habits??
