Tonight's Ask PHLemmy: What is a situation you have almost no sympathy with?

People who get scammed by Axie, crypto, financial advisors, MLM, "KuNg MaY pRoBleMa Ka SaBiHiN mO lAnG sA aKiN" sweet talk, laglag-barya, and other schemes.

So apparently may tesla showroom sa manila which got me thinking EV drivers will probably face stigma of receiving special treatment sa malls cause may reserved parking spot sila sa malls

[-] decadentrebel@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago

Parking slots for EVs in malls are only few, though. Like 2-3 at most.

The real advantage is they have exemption sa coding. I know the intention is to incentivize going electric, but since ang mahal mahal ng EV (unlike in other countries in which they offer subsidies), it just comes off as pandering to the privileged again.

Living in Baguio 2 places I've seen where EVs have designated parking spots are SM and Technohub

Napa-bisita ako sa kabila, at first time ko ito nabasa o nakita. AFAIK, banks offer payroll solutions for medium and large businesses.

So bakit gagamit o magtiwala sa third-party solutions when it comes to finances?

[-] k5nn@lemm.ee 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Banks are technicaly third party solutions though ang mali lang nila inasa nila something as big as payroll sa digital bank to make matters worse some unheard of third party pa yung pinili

[-] Companion1666@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

But going back to the topic, this is a good segment on number coding being useless and alternative solutions to traffic.

May carpooling pa nalalaman as if silang mga politiko willing umalis sa SUV nila na sila lang karga, lmao.

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! 🇵🇭

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.
