Hello Tallahassee community! I am just posting this to warn any students or anyone looking for an apartment complex near FSU to NOT, under any circumstances, sign a lease at Vertex Apartments off of Jackson Bluff. In my entire time living I have never had such a terrible living situation. The management here is HORRIBLE and they actively let me live in a unit with NO RUNNING WATER for over 70 days and still forced me to pay rent as to not be evicted. The people running this place refuse to communicate unless I actively go to the leasing office every day and they have made no headway in either putting me in a similar size unit with water, fixing my water, or stopping the rent charges. I have never dealt with something like this and that's not even to mention the termite and roach infestation that seems to be running across the entire complex. For 3 months now I've paid rent on a place with no water, it's sick, DO NOT SIGN AT VERTEX! You have been warned.

Have you reported this complex to the Tallahassee Code Enforcement division?
