Beautiful! I've done similar things with wood, so I can appreciate the process. You're so lucky to live where there are cool rocks.
Also, here's the next batch I'm working on fresh off the saw. From here I need to grind them flat and then go through progressive grits to get them shiny.

Those look incredible!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
So what's the process like? Where do you source your rocks and stuff? Amazing work!
Thanks! I'm in Oregon, so there are all kinds of cool rocks. A lot of them I've found myself or bought at rock shows, garage sale, etc.
To make them, I cut the rock for the base and grind it flat. I then use uv resin to attach a layer of dichroic glass to a glass brick, and then a 2 part epoxy to attack the rock to the glass. I then use a tile saw to cut everything into the rough shape I want. From there it's just a matter of going up through the various grits of polishing disks until it's nice and shiny.
these are gorgeous!
Thanks!
Ineffably magnificent... no words... indeed... As at the previous Community you posted.
Perhaps, it would be valuable to mention related posts via references, to keep it all connected.
Please do consider creating an online store and shipping these for people who would care about these, and to Europe too if possible!
And... thank you for creating miracles...
