I see truth here, but where I work, the exec leadership holes up on one floor of the building and almost never show their faces. They get someone to park their car for them and scurry in quickly. Their meals are all brought to them on their floor.
Maybe they just like seeing the rest of us chumps from on high? They sure as hell never come to the office floors.
They have spent so much money on stuffing us all in here, making it miserable and they don't have to be accountable to the complete lack of ROI.
I used to look in on things after hours. Now I NEVER even check if there are messages. I do my time in the dumb office and leave PROMPTLY after eight hours. I take a real lunch also.
This all seems like such a waste.
I'm sure the ass kissing middle managers go up to the top floor for brown nosing sessions. You know, the "up and comers'.
We're trying to reduce the numbers of hours a person has to work.
We talk about the end of paid work being mandatory for survival.
