The exact same question was posted and answered yesterday (by a different account). Besides, ELI5 is not a support forum. Please don't spam.
It's loveespresso@retrofed.com and it's fucking annoying, especially when we wasted our time to tell him and he never replied.
Yeah, I know. I usually try to give new accounts the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they don't know where and how to ask things in a way that actually helps them...
But making a second account, and posting the same question in the same incorrect community again... that's just too much for me.
I need to go over the lesson again. I need to study this post and the one I had made yesterday. No more questions tomorrow. Whatever glitches l come across, l shall ask as comments.
Can't really figure out, so many people have given me so many suggestions, which l tried out, but this particular folder refuses to budge due to some mysterious reason.
It still doesn't explain why you are switching between 5 (yes, five) accounts, and not answering our questions. For the reference:

Same AI picture, same questions about that specific folder that you could have nuked a long time ago.
How did you track all of my accounts ? Do l know you as some other account user ??
Having so many accounts is getting kind of ridiculous. Please just use one or two accounts.
Not everyone wants to see so many questions. When those people block you and then you make a new account and ask many questions again with the new one, you create work for all those people who need to block your new account too.
Is it possible to archive the posts ?
I browse by /New and I see the same question over and over. Why? I mean... what's the point? I'm pretty sure you're not a chatbot, but what you are doing is very inefficient. When I started learning Linux, fucking things up was mandatory to learn, and deleting a directory would have been done in a few hours without previous knowledge.
You have been working on this stupid folder for days. A name that will never exist in a real situation. My advice: uninstall WSL, reinstall WSL, and move on.
Are you serious about that ? Me uninstalling wsl and then reinstalling it ??
Yes. It's a 15 minutes job. I did the equivalent a hundred times when I was learning, and I had no web site or community to help me.
RTFM, lurk more, etc.
Probably there was no internet ??
But you had some professor to guide you, but l'm doing an online course. There's a help community on discord, which l found very unhelpful.
I installed the WSL with the instructions of Gemini, but l've got to use my discernment while using such instructions.
But you had some professor to guide you,
No, only man pages.
Have you uninstalled WSL yet? Here: https://superuser.com/q/1317883. Also AI sucks, read the official documentation from Microsoft.
Hi there... See this......

First sentences:
The WSL commands below are listed in a format supported by PowerShell or Windows Command Prompt. To run these commands from a Bash / Linux distribution command line, you must replace wsl with wsl.exe
wsl.exe --uninstall or something
i see......
Less replying, more typing. Unplug your ethernet cable for better learning.
I followed your words, and now my everything is gone. Pure whitewash !!
Also this:

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/basic-commands#install
I found this a very helpful link.
I'll be sitting down at the laptop a bit later.
That's a super link. Thanks ๐๐
Next time, please try a community that fits your question like !linux4noobs@programming.dev or !linuxquestions@lemmy.zip
I can see how Explain Like I'm Five might seem right but it's usually meant for broader questions like "ELI5: why is the sky blue?" or "ELI5: can you explain that thing that is currently going on in the world?", not your homework.
How about ELI5: Why Trump chose to end the war with Iran ??
Iโm personally not a fan of politics questions but yes, that would fit.
