I've heard of people using a combination of a scrobbler and listenbrainz to combine listening history and get new recommendations
That seems like the suggestions that best fits what I wanted, I have just installed simple scrobbler and set up a listenbrainz account. I also kind of like how listenbrainz handles data sharing, as they are very explicit about how they use your listening data.
Now I just have to wait to get some suggestions :)
how about viMusic?
Isnt really what I asked for but looks great as a general streaming service alternative
It can play similar songs.
I don't know about music recommendations, but I personally use a Jellyfin server with clients for any OS I use. That pretty much shows the same playlists everywhere.
I sometimes use moodify.app
