We are open to increasing the limit further as users hit the limit through normal usage. We have already raised it once after one of our early users hit the limit a while back.
The limit is mostly to prevent spam, else someone could automate uploads to fill up the server. Since uploads are around 15MB, it should take some time for new users to hit that limit.
