If you listen to the guy in interviews, it becomes clear he may think he's an authority on just about anything (and that people around him unsurprisingly go the sycophantic route and accommodate that belief), but he's very clearly not. He was said to not be especially political before becoming close to Jeffery Epstein, who apparently mentored him into the warped technofascist outlook that he has now.
