Having the same issue

Had the same issue, but fixed it by clicking on 'forgot password', entering my email and using the new password to login. However, the security seems questionable - it did not verify/notify my email id, and presents my password in plaintext on the website itself.

I found my issue. I used to put gibberish into the email field and worked previously. The new account I made in the OP also had a gibberish email. My new account is a valid email and can log in.
