Holy shit. This is the first I've heard of this band. Listening to the KEXP performance right now and it is fucking awesome. I'm gonna be ordering some vinyl!

I can’t tell you how actually gratifying it is for me to hear that this post clued you in to them and that you like them. That performance is something I’ve rewatched at least 10 times and they deserve the hype.

I was amazed at the footwork of the guitar/bassist on those pedals!

I'm so stoked right now. I LOVE their sound. Tha k you for cluing me in!

Heh, wondered how long it would take to see one of their albums on here, they really blew up. Fun stuff!

Even without the visual element to drive home how impressive they are, it’s a great record.

Just got done dancing like no one was watching to Mata Zyklek and thank goodness no one was in fact watching.

Did you find them through the recent exposure they got or have you been listening before that? I never had heard of them until that KEXP performance. The first time I ever saw a band blowing up like that.

It was the KEXP video for me as well.

Their rise is fascinating. It wasn’t the first thought I had when I listened to them, but based on a lot of the commentary I hear around them, I think AI’s attempted coup of our Zeitgeist has people primed for something this…singular

Sure, we're in a cult. But we have the best kool-aide.

My friends got me into them back in Feb and can't believe how much they blew up. It is there 2nd album, but this one took off. I definitely hear some King Gizzard in them, they even did an entire microtonal album as well like 10 years ago. It's always great when you see the more obscure style music blow up for once.

This band and Clown Core give me hope that the apocalypse won't be that bad

Louis Cole is the man

[-] 4am@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 days ago

We need a new Clown Core release. I hope that Louis is feeling better, he apparently had some nerve issues he had to rest up last year sometime and all his projects where pretty quiet last I checked. Dude wrote some symphonies basically and they were all madness. Get well and come back Louis!

Yo.... Yo. Sarniezz is my favourite of theirs, joined the hype train recently, absolutely love them!

From guys from Saguenay to Lemmy. This is some really cool feat

Im just realizing DJ Regular on WMUH was playing this today. I couldn't recognize it right away but after seeing this I'm sure off it from the one other time I watched their video stuff. Honestly enjoyed listening to the music better without their visual bizzarness
