For anyone wondering, this is 100% true and not exaggerated. It was so bad you run the blender without plugging it in.
Also it happened 120% of the time. People thinking about a hug would get knocked down. People would park their Tesla with empty batteries and get it fully charged if children were running around.

To combat the hundreds of thousands of jackrabbits that overran the Dust Bowl states in 1935, some towns staged “rabbit drives” in which townsmen corralled the jackrabbits in pens and smashed them to death with clubs and baseball bats.
