Now that I have the Sunday strips from 1988, I will post the 2026 Sunday strips as Bill publishes them.

At least 420 is a reference to being a stoner/wanting to smoke weed. As far as I understand, 6 7 has literally no meaning.

I had this thought too while reading, but I am glad Bill steered clear of the sexual joke from the pre-teen. And while there was a stoner joke made, it was obvious Jason did not know what the joke was.

I wonder if there are other funny numbers lost to time. Some ancient Romans kids yelling “XVII” all the time and their parents just literally cannot anymore.

420 is way less cringe though, and that's saying a lot because it is actually pretty cringe.

FoxTrot is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Amend. The strip launched on April 10, 1988, and it originally ran seven days a week. From December 31, 2006 onwards, FoxTrot has only appeared on Sundays.

The strip revolves around the daily lives of the Fox family, composed of parents Andrea (Andy) and Roger and their children, Peter, Paige, and Jason. It covers a wide range of subject matter, including spoofs of pop culture fads, nerd culture, complex math, and popular consumer products.
