Oh no, one of the companies so huge and expansive that they are effectively beyond the reach of litigation jurisdiction. They also know how little they'll end up paying.

Let's consider the thieves arithmetic. Make millions if not billions from the scraping. Pay the occasional relatively paltry fine. Not one meaningful individual to be prosecuted..

Please can we now change the laws on taxation and fines?

Europe is currently considering the big four IT companies for their current failures o to meet European legislation, despite their carefully negotiated run in and preparation period.

We need the financial equivalent of cricket bats, hockey sticks, hell, even pitchforks at this time. Let me be the first to vote for Pitchforks!
