Great Lakes region, USA. September 2025.

Juvenile gulls will find sticks to play with, just like we do. They'll pick them up, drop them and pick them up again. This dude was getting some practice in. It was fun to watch.

Never mind the crow bros, here’s the gullfriends.

Herring gulls live for 12 years, mate for life, and are intelligent social birds. This is a place to appreciate positive interactions with the little skwarkers. They are on the red endangered list in the UK and a protected species, so let’s all be nice to them.
