Daylight savings time needs to end. Permanent standard time. Permanent DST is a bad idea.
We're not an agrarian society any more. We can choose a better time standard.

We tried permenant DLS already under Nixon and didn’t like. Let’s learn from experience and science andnadopt permenant standard time.
