You gotta give the journalists some slack - coming up with silly nicknames for national enemies cuts through the monotony of a day of rewording press releases from the ministry of foreign affairs.
I don't typically engage with mainstream German media, but a state funded radio station was on in the car yesterday. Of course they were talking bs about the whole Wagner situation, and couldn't stop referring to Lukashenko as the "Belarusian power holder" (Machtinhaber).
donald trump, no matter how much i despise him, he has the best stupid nicknames for his opponents. like, Ron DeSanctimonious and Meatball Ron are genuinely humorous
I'm from the US.....so yes absolutely they do
well, i sometimes call reactionary parties stupid nicknames like calling the AfD "Asshats for Discrimination"
