
This is painfully correct. I am a watch collector but almost always wear either the Omega Speedmaster my wife gifted me twenty years ago, or a Timex Ironman Indiglo. I wear the Ironman because I have consistently owned one since they were first released (before Indiglo was a thing). I was prepubescent and got it as a present from my mother.
With those two watches, I literally wear my heart on my sleeve.
You wear your watch on your sleeve? I think most people have their sleeves over the watch. /s
Unfortunately; looks like I’m in the 50th percentile lol. I really don’t like digital displays and wear watches to look at screens less (plus I think they look nice
As a breitling guy I feel left out
I love the craftsmanship, style and technology that goes into making a nice timepeice. Like classic cars, they have loads of character and I respect the effort it takes to make something that nice.
I also love the simplicity, economics and durability of Casios like a basic Toyota that will last forever. I've drug my basic G-Shock through all kinds of hell for years and it never skipped a beat. I repect the effort it takes to make something like that too.
