The European Commission today formally launched its "anti-subsidy investigation" into the imports of battery electric vehicles from China. It could lead to punitive tariffs imposed within a year and already triggered sharp reactions.

German car manufacturers will not have their huge profit margins destroyed by petty competitors who dare to offer reasonable prices. It must be "dumping"!!1!
