Why doesn't Jerboa use unified push to implement notification management, as some applications like Tusky do for Mastodon ? Normally, since Lemmy and Mastodon use the same fediverse protocol, this should be possible ? Or maybe the function is not yet managed by Lemmy ?

This has nothing to do with Lemmy supporting ActivityPub, it just needs to be implemented in the Lemmy server first. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2631
