I was gonna say, I hadn't seen the movie, but the trailer made it seem like he might be a bad guy.
the movie isn't bad, but it's two hours of americans killing each other instead of exporting that violence to other countries, so some people might find it unsettling. it's probably the first movie I've seen where boogaloo boys were fighting federal troops who are trying to keep a Trump parody in power after his two terms were up. they did a good job of making everyone in the movie seem absolutely shitty in their own way.
who knows, might turn out to be prophetic, cause I'm pretty sure Trump isn't kidding about running for a third term, and I know there are definitely people who want to see that happen.
