I'm sure you're going to find some fanfic about this if you look deep enough in ao3
I probably would have watched it if the show was made like that originally, since I have no qualms with female-led shows, but if it came out now - post end of the show, it'd just feel like a low-effort genderbend to me.
If it was presented just like this ("Supernatural, but the MCs are women!"), I'd probably feel similarly to it as the Ghostbusters movie where they did the same. Ie, it sounds like a corporate attempt to make progressive dollars with what sounds like a lazy pandering rehash.
If you mean more as a concept, I think it could work. I mean, I think Buffy was pretty popular for a while.
what if women
but okay now what show is like this. asking for a friend. Set It Off 1996 is cool like this. Freaks of Science 1985 is cool like this but not all women- though a diverse cast. Generation X 1996 is also cool like this however not all women- again a diverse cast.
If only they had greenlit the Wayward Sisters spinoff

- No Artist Credited
Always properly credit the artist when posting fanworks.
- Title Spoilers
Supernatural creatures, locations, and the names of major characters in the series without context will not be considered spoilers, but sharing plot developments, major events, or details about their character arc wil/be.
- Inaccurate Flair
Any and all content relating to a specific season must be given that season's flair; do not flair it "News/Misc’ or "Fanworks". Additionally, OPs cannot spoil any seasons past the one they use as flair. For example, if an OP is talking about Season 10 enough to spoil it in the post text, their post flair should be of that season and not an earlier one. Now that the show has concluded, any discussion about future theories (like the prequel) should be flaired as Season 15.
- No Spoiler Markup
Users cannot spoil past the season the OP has flaired their post without spoiler markup. If the OP indicates in the text of their post that they have not finished the season their post is flaired, do not spoil them past where they are. Always put any future spoilers in the spoiler markup so OP has the choice to click and read or not.
- Non-Descriptive/Improper Title
Post titles must provide an exact, concise description of the content. Titles should clearly explain what the post is about without additional commentary, jokes, or filler. Titles must not be vague or misleading. They should prepare the reader for exactly what they will see in your post. Do not reference previous posts, moderator actions, or any grievances. Please message the mod team directly to voice any concerns or frustrations.
