... because I comment more times in a single day than I normally do over weeks.

(Hoarding meds because I need to make an appointment for a refill, but I can't make myself do that when unmedicated and always get distracted the rare days I am. Hey, if it were rational it'd be considered a personality quirk, not a mental illness.)

Now if only I could direct this sudden surge of motivation towards something productive.

Bro I’ve been forgetting to set aside doses that I skip. So when I ran out of my last bottle two days ago I like actually ran out. And yeah turns out I have to make an appointment to get a refill. Have to call to make appointment.

Couldn't call friday because I noticed after hours. Likely won’t be able to call tomorrow because I won’t be medicated.

Oh also I have an exam tomorrow that I planned to study for over the weekend but couldn’t. I low key want to curl up in a ball and die. But I can’t do that to my mechatronics teammates lol

Here's hoping your exam went well!

Do you mean you might not finish a bottle and just move on to the next leaving the previous bottle for other times? Or you aren't able to maintain a constant supply and you'll pop a hoarded one sometimes?

I'm bad about getting refills (thanks, crippling social anxiety combined with meds that are a controlled substance and require frequent doctor check-ins). When I'm down to a week or so left of a 30-day supply, I stop taking them and save the last few for when I desperately need to do something. I don't think I've had a refill since July and still have two left.

I make poor life decisions.

Be sure to practice FIFO (First In First Out). I do this with some of my meds. I've got one with a 1 year supply (I have my own bad habits), but I'm always taking less than a year old meds as I use the oldest ones first.

It can get excessive in my case. So my trick is this: I made a file "nobody-cares.txt" and just paste the comment in there instead of submitting it. For someone with ADHD, that feels almost as good as submitting it, because I COULD do that later!

I was quite proud of that method, but my therapist said that this still attributes value to the comment and thus the social media activity. So the next step would be to cancel, even after typing a long comment.
