PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT. Our own Aeronmelon is going through some shit at the moment and could use some help. Check it out here and consider an upvote or a comment to push it into activity. Sorry, not something I do often or will be spamming. But I care about my friend and if I can get a couple more eyes on his situation then I'm going to try to do what I can. (Last one I promise. Just twice. Not going to spam but dude is a big part of the Lemmy community, especially with Trek, and he deserves the help)

Let's not gatekeep suicidal thoughts. You don't need to have a loaded gun ready to be classified as suicidal. Any thoughts of not wanting to live or wishes to never have been born/exist is a serious issue and something you deserve not to live with.

Like most things, it's a spectrum. You can be suicidal and just slowly do it with drugs or alcohol.

i keep thinking of funneling others suicidal moods into wanting something precious to die for... like trees and animals are my "i'll do this or nothing" point. can that make sense?

like what's your "if i don"t do this i might as well die" topic? it's becomes a powerful and inexhaustable motivator.
