Or capitalization. "They added The Thing" already reads different than "they added the thing".
But putting it in scare quotes like that almost makes it seem like not "the thing"! 🤪
You know... "the" ah... "thing", THE THING!
I just checked. It's not on Netflix anymore. And neither is The Thing.
