"Stopping the moment they finally didn't"?
I understand the premiss but that sentence is hard on my brain.
Others great work, especially how you upset that other lemming really added to my day haha
At three in the morning, I woke to my wife screaming and only then realized I was hunched over his empty crib.

Ya, it was a bit terrible. I did a quick edit but it's a lot to fit into one sentence and it's definitely a reach.
Thanks! The reaction does make it special, haha
I unironically upvoted this post only because you had such a moronic take against it.
Same. Had to upvote to let OP know I had their back. I’m surprised it got this much traction😂
Have you ever read or watched ANY horror before?
You seem to be implying that this is original, which is awesome! If it gets you outraged or horrified, it has done its job.
The closest thing here is probably Pet Sematary, on both subjects.
Ever read Euripides? We should probably go do something other than read Euripides.
Lmao.
>Goes into a horror community.
>Reads (like really game) horror.
>Gets mad.
It's fiction, sorry if I hit on a sensitive subject. It's just a something that popped into my head.
I'm a real person. I did edit it a bit to lessen the confusion, it's hard sometimes on the phone, I tend to rewrite and rewrite.
You don't seem to have noticed which community this is. It's Two Sentence Horror. None of it is real, it's just creepy/horror stories told in two sentences.
The way I read this one, the protagonist either somehow absorbs, or eats, other living beings at night. They consumed their childhood pets, which their, parents kept replacing, so the cycle continued. Once their parents stopped replacing the pets, they stopped being able to consume them. They then had a child, which reawakened whatever happened before, and thus the horror.
(Goes into fiction based instance)
(Gets mad that there is fiction there)
You know you can just come across this in all, top, or any other sort, on any instance too? I could see it being a bit jaring if you don't pay attention to the community name. Cut people a little slack, especially when they acknowledge they didn't notice something.
If people are in All, they will undoubtedly see things that make them uncomfortable. And that's what the block button is for. Individuals are responsible for curating the content they see, not what others post.
Is it that hard to look? To gather some context clues right at the top of the screen? To use tools right at your fingertips?
Don't yell at the hot stove when you get burnt by it.
Its funny dawg. Nobody is mad at them. We are just laughing at a lost lemming
I'd have thought that too, but several users seem actually quite cross about it. A simple 'have you checked the community name?' seemed to resolve the issue without all the snarkiness I saw in some posts. Anyway, our lost lemming is back on track, and who knows, maybe they'll deliberately come looking for a little dose of horror in future.
Thats not fiction? Are you being confused/upset because there are still places on the internet where people have fun and are trying to get away from politics?
Fictional horror is fun specifically because its fiction. The real life horrors are gut wrenching and almost disabling.
And as we all know, fiction is only supposed to include things that happen in real life... especially the horror genre, no imagination there, just real stuff that really happens, hence the word fiction. I've never seen anything in a fictional horror movie or story that can't happen in real life...
Jesus christ. I did not noticed that thanks. Kind of a what the fuck kind of situation here.
I can well believe it! It's definitely not the sort of thing you expect in 'all'!
That is actually way more horror than anything you guys are talking about, and it’s true.
I think you need to expand the second sentence a bit, give it some suspense or something, otherwise it's pretty good.
Sweet dreams
Oh those went missing a long time ago...
Two, not five.
Strangling? Eating. Swallowed whole, like an alligator would.
hunched over his empty crib
Two Sentence Horrors.
The title should be the first sentence, while the body should be the second.
Keep it spooky.
