Had to laugh at this paragraph though "They represent a very different kind of community than the traditional white, male, neurotypical player base that for many people is the traditional image of the D&D player." I don't think 'neurotypical' describes the stereotype of 'obsessive' or 'socially awkward' that is normally applied to role players 😁
I was thinking the same thing.
Seems like they subconsciously used the "minority representation -> the traditional demographic is part of the majority" template without giving it much thought, but ended up being hilarious in this case
