I picked this one to share today based on a bit of news I got from @gid@lemmy.blahaj.zone on my Year of the Cobra post a week or so ago. Decided to go and check out Amenra and their massive sound, being post metal/atmospheric sludge, and some hardcore vocals. Incredible slow and heavy riffage reminding me a lot of the Ocean collective, but with a more pointed and crushing purpose.

Listening to this track again really lets me know I seem to be going through some shit at the moment and it doesnt exactly heal or help, but rather makes it more apparent, front and center. Not a bad thing I guess, but I'm not sure where to put it other than into these words lol.

Tidal, Bandcamp, RateYourMusic, Encyclopaedia Metallum

Excellent song.

Also, I hope that you get through what you have going on. Your recognition that things are not okay is a way you have turned up for yourself, and that's important.

Such a fantastic song, it hits the same way peak Tool did.

Looks like we were both in a bit of a Doom metal mood.
