there it is. the concentration camp was built in the wrong spot, that's the problem with it.

Reframing hope as a motivator instead of a passive expectation has helped me gain a bit of footing concerning my outlook on the state of the world.
There is worth in small changes like this one. It is alright to acknowledge it when good things are happening, even if they don't (immediately or ever) lead to the desired outcome.
Don't be disheartened.
Does anyone else think this entire debacle was just done to appease Trump's dementia-fuelled order to reopen the actual Alcatraz? Because I haven't heard a peep about that since he announced it.
Picture it: "What if we opened up a NEW Alcatraz, Mr president? With alligators instead of sharks! And only brown people, because whites behind bars make us all sad. And we'll even put it in your own backyard so you can fly Marine One over it and piss on the detainees!"
