Genuinely curious what is the door lock thing?

Ok, but if we redact the question to

"safety stuff commonly bought by men/women" it makes common sense now.

There is no visibility vest, helmet, hard boots, pepper spray, taser, that You will have to prove Your gender before buying! Everyone can buy them.

Ok, maybe hardwork boots be a problem, womens commonly have smaller shoe sizes, blame stores for not having small sizes.

Let's move to the questions, why bicycle helmets are less popular by women, while bikes are awesome for all gender? why visibility vest are less popular for women (do they commonly care bout fashion over safety?) why stun gun and pepper sprays are less popular by men (guess commonly, yes, commonly, not always, but still commonly men are more strong for self protection, rarely wear height heels that prevent escaping, girls, go hit gyms and boxing clubs? /s?) Also everyone should have some solid door lock protections, whatever vs burglars, or door-to-door sellers

In other words, women actually have weapons
