David Roche decided to run the Leadville 100 ultra on short notice with the goal to just finish, ghe explained in a subscriber only podcast the night before the race. He expected it to be at least 30 mins slower than his last year's course record. Instead, he beat it by 14 minutes.

Quite an accomplishment and definitely a mental boost after his DNF as WSER this year.

A place those of us who enjoy the long, long runs can chat about; ultras, food, gear, race reports, health, injury, techniques, training, training plans, etc., etc., etc.

You get the point.

This is just a start, so if you have suggestions about the overall vibe and setup, please let me know. I hope we can grow this into a place we can call home.
