Looks like Microsoft finally managed to break the trend.
And by that I mean the trend of alternating between releasing a good or at least relatively decent product, and then becoming arrogant and releasing an absolute turd that tries to shove functions features that nobody except the out of touch Microsoft corporate dipshits and investors want down the throats of its users, resulting in a complete commercial failure, which then prompts them into actually listening to what their consumer base wants, resulting into another decent product.
This time they're really doubling down on it in a fit of corporate hubris. AI everything and cloud computing is only something investors want, not the users.
It's forcing Kinect on the Xbox One all over again. It's forcing that shit metro interface on desktop users in Windows 8 all over again as well. Except it's even worse now. They never learn.
Imagine buying an AI terminal that will later force you to get a paid subscription plan for their cloud AI services in order to work.
