Average Americans.
The average American is very clear as to the why and they mostly fall into two camps. They are either gleeful or horrified.
Is that why they constantly state the tariffs (which we have endured from the US forever)? and not the 51st state bs, the annexation bs, the detentions bs, the murder bs? The few educated ones know what is up, but the rest...
As I said, everyone knows. The majority who voted for Trump are gleeful about it They are currently living their best life. Do not try to excuse them with ignorance. They absolutely know. The other 60+% of the country is horrified.
I listened to Gavin and the governor of I think it was maine and unless they are actually stupid (I doubt they are), they truly think it is the tariffs, not ANY of the other shit that really pissed us off
That's just politicians pushing their agenda. Ask Bernie and he'll tell you that it is because we lack free healthcare. Any citizen you talk to knows that the big issue scaring tourists away is ~~the Gestapo~~ ICE. I live in two very tourism heavy towns. Jackson Hole, Wyoming (Yellowstone) and Orlando, Florida (Disney). The demographic change in Orlando was noticeable and so was the lighter traffic in Wyoming.

Governors like Gavin and northern states like Maine etc
