If framework made a NAS, I'd buy that in a heartbeat to replace my Synology. @frameworkcomputer @framework

You don't have to wait! You can start today with one of these and any second hand USFF PC. The Terramaster boxes are also decent. 😊

@kboyd @frameworkcomputer @framework I backed an Orico NAS on Kickstarter, we’ll see how that goes. I’m not sure if the mainboard is a standard kind or not, but you can replace RAM and all the storage of course. Pretty sure the CPU is too, but I’m not sure about its cooler.

A Framework Desktop with slightly refocused internals would make a pretty nice home/small biz NAS.

I got a ugreen nas. It was cheap. Their OS is Debian underneath. I installed NixOS on it. Seems to work well.
