After bare-fisted battles with zombies, serial killers, and superheroes, the sizeable and sturdy Ma Dong-seok now uses his imposing presence and boxing skills to brutally intimidate biblical monsters of ancient evil in the explosive and horrific action movie “Holy Night: Demon Hunters,” the feature debut of director and screenwriter Lim Dae-hee. Adapting Jeong Han-gil’s popular webtoon of the same name, Lim faithfully recreates the surreal frights and kinetic fight sequences that made the original work such a standout.
