Ok, sorry. I was just curious as the video title is different and I didn't see the upload name itself. (in the video thumbnail itself: "Birds can store data")
This was just a slight difference that got me thinking about file sizes, why a PNG was converted instead of just drawing on a spectrograph and other little nuances of this process, s'all.
Without watching the video, I'm assuming the guy didn't actually save data to a bird but assigned data to an identifier the bird can give off, like its shape or something.
Also without watching my guess was that it was sending out a sound and relying on the birds repeating that sound. So like storing it in the bird's memory

Haven't watched the video yet either, but that guy's content is usually very interesting and deep. Good production value too.
