MSG is not harmful, and could be a better choice than salt for some people.

Relevant noting sodium glutamate is naturally present in a lot of things: hard cheeses, tomatoes, soy sauce, mushrooms etc.

That stuff would torment my dad with migraines. He took it out of his diet ages ago.

Facts first:

  • Lions can hybridise with tigers.
  • Tigers can hybridise with leopards.
  • Leopards can hybridise with pumas.
  • Pumas are closer relatives to domestic cats than ocelots.
  • Domestic cats can hybridise with ocelots.
  • Some feline hybrids are fertile.

Now, I don't know if viable or not, but I really want people to breed lion manes all the way into the domestic cat species. Why should I get a maine coon, if I could get a mane coon instead???

Not one healthy adult has ever been killed by a black widow bite, at least since we started keeping track. Poor things have the world's worst reputation for no reason

More practical information because I'm following up with GP recommendations after my last visit, but Magnesium glycinate followed by Magnesium citrate are most absorbed by the body. An ED nurse friend said if I were to look to buy vitamins and minerals, do not buy gummies, and get ones that are bioavailable to the body.

She specifically said that if I had gotten Magnesium oxide, she'd have told me to bin it. Strength ("high strength", etc. on the label) doesn't matter if the body can't absorb it.

So life pro tip: Research the vit/min you're looking for first, stay within the maximum recommended daily intake (online), and read the label. If it says "equivalent to (vit/min) ###.# mg", that's the amount your body can actually absorb, not the "Magnesium 1200g" on the front of the bottle.

Some dolphins will find a shell and drop it near sea grass. Little fish will be curious and swim into the shell.

Dolphin grabs shell and brings it to the top of the water and the fish falls out. Dolphin eats it's snack.

It's part of the Netflix series: "Our Oceans" with Barack Obama.

https://sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/news/dolphins-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly

Dolphins are known to attack and kill baby dolphins. It is understood that this is because males see new calves as “competition”, so may try and see off the baby, so that the mother is free to make more babies.

And male dolphins are ruthless when it comes to mating. Males can form “gangs”, isolating females from other pods.

You’ve probably seen footage of dolphins playing. However, sometimes it may be that they’re 'playing' with other animals. A well-known example is a group of dolphins using a baby shark as a make-shift volleyball.

Greenland's ice is melting at a rate of 3 Olympic-sized swimming pools per second. Heard it on The Infinite Monkey Cage science podcast, no idea how accurate it is.
